Repair/Service Technician, Sarasota and Pinellas Office's

Salary:  Negotiable based on experience

Qualifications:

Florida Southern Roofing is currently seeking qualified service/repair technicians for our St.Petersburg/Pinellas office. Florida Southern Roofing offers top employment opportunities to highly motivated individuals. Qualified candidates need only apply if you have at least 5 years experience. Candidates should also have general knowledge of all roofing systems installed in Florida.
 
All FSR employees subject to random drug testing and background checks.
FSR maintains a drug free workplace.

Candidate should have the following skills and or competencies:

• Strong communication skill with the comfort and ability to work with FSR clients and the FSR team.
• Ability to problem solve in the field and access client issues.
• Basic arithmetic and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and preplan upcoming jobs.
• Valid Florida drivers license with a clean driving history for the past 3 years. ( Five years for DUI convictions)

Description:

Repair/Service technician is responsible for timely completion of service orders and contracts as assigned to them on a daily basis. Service tickets must be completed using the highest quality standards.
 

FSR service technicians are also responsible for:

• Supervising their assigned helper.
• Reporting all findings back to the service manager.
• Completing FSR time sheets for themselves and their helper.
• Completing material requisition sheets.
• Estimating additional costs over and above work orders with FSR customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintaining a clean and neat service truck.
