New law could cost homeowners plenty!

The Hurricane Mitigation Damage Program law, scheduled to go into effect October 1, 2007, requires many homes built before 2002 to have mandatory roof-to-wall connection upgrades when the roof is replaced. Homes that fall into this category include those valued at $300,000 or more in the higher wind areas of the state.
